For engagements involving Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) and HUD-assisted programs, Urbanus Partners follows strict guidelines for the handling of personally identifiable information (“PII”), including resident data and benefit recipient identifiers (such as PINs). HUD’s Office of Public and Indian Housing issued Notice PIH-2015-06, updating guidance on privacy protection and safeguarding PII collected by PHAs and their contractors in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and related statutes.
